New Opportunity for Workers (NOW)
Through the New Opportunities for Workers (NOW) program sponsored by the Department of Commerce Division of Employment and Training, NC REAL collaborates with the NC Rural Economic Development Center and the NC Small Business Center Network. This program focuses on entrepreneurship education and resources for dislocated workers statewide. NC REAL delivers awareness sessions for JobLink, Employment Security, and Workforce Development representatives, offers REAL courses, site support, and conducts needs assessment with potential REAL participants.
