Surveys

We have overwhelming anecdotal evidence about how REAL Entrepreneurship has inspired entreprenurial thinking and changed participants’ lives. We need to compliment this with quantative data about business outcomes and increases in knowledge due to REAL Entrepreneurship.

NC Real has two tools for collecting this data:

  • The Demographic Survey tells us who is taking REAL Entrepreneurship courses and their plans for the future. (High School or Secondary/Other)
  • The End of Class Survey gauges participants’ reponse to the REAL course and their plans for the future. It allows us to create a REAL alumni database. (High School or Post-Secondary/Other

Ms. Betsy DeCampo is a Business & Industry Coordinator at Carteret Community College. She attended NC REAL Institute in Durham, NC in April of 2004. Ms. DeCampo is actively involved with post-secondary and youth REAL Entrepreneurship programs in Carteret County. She serves on staff at NC REAL Summer Camp Trainings.
